Daniyal’s Story — A Little Fighter Who Never Gave Up

Seven-year-old Daniyal Tariq has already endured more than most adults ever will.
When he was first diagnosed with leukemia, a serious cancer of the blood, his family’s world fell apart overnight.

His parents, both daily wage workers — the father at a construction site and the mother cleaning streets — worked long, exhausting hours just to keep food on the table. They had no savings, no insurance, and no safety net to face such a devastating illness.

In March 2025, Daniyal’s condition worsened.
He developed intestinal graft rejection, a dangerous complication that left him in severe pain and urgently needing to begin his third round of inpatient treatment. But by then, his family had already sold everything they owned and borrowed from relatives. There was nothing left.

Understanding how hard life was for his parents, Daniyal once told them quietly that maybe they should stop his treatment — because he didn’t want to see them suffer anymore.

But love doesn’t give up.
His parents refused to stop fighting for him. They said, “We’ll do anything, as long as our son has a chance.”

When Support Care Haven learned of Daniyal’s situation, our team quickly reached out and provided emergency medical assistance of USD 20,000, connecting him to a partner hospital for further treatment.

Thanks to this timely support, Daniyal was able to begin his third round of therapy. His doctors report that his condition is now stabilizing, and his recovery is progressing well.

Leukemia is a long road — one filled with challenges, fear, and hope.
But for Daniyal and his parents, the hardest part is behind them.
With care, compassion, and continued medical support, this brave little boy now has a real chance to heal — and to dream again.
